Ranczo ["Ranch"] is a Polish television comedy series, directed by Wojciech Adamczyk, that has aired since March 2006 on TVP1. It follows the story of Lucy Wilska, a Polish-American who has inherited her grandmother's country home in the fictional small town of Wilkowyje. She arrives in Wilkowyje intent on selling the cottage but, after seeing the charm of the village, decides to stay.

Plebania is a Polish soap opera broadcast from October 5, 2000 to January 27, 2012 on TVP1. The series is about the lives of ordinary people in the fictional Polish village of Tulczyn. The plot revolves around the family, religious, and social issues of the village inhabitants with central roles played by a parish priest, his family and friends, and a wealthy business man known for shady dealings. Plebania is the second-longest Polish soap opera.

After Germany invades Poland and the Nazis order the confinement of all local Jews in the ghetto, medical doctor Artur Planck (Joseph Fiennes) manages to flee with his family, seeking refuge at the farm of Emilia (Kelly Harrison), their former grocer. With the Planck family hiding in her attic, Emilia finds her feelings for the physician growing stronger than she wants, or can control -- despite the dangers of the situation.

How was it possible that a single man influenced contemporary world so significantly? This film is an attempt to capture the phenomenon of a common man’s metamorphosis into a charismatic leader — an attempt to see how a Gdansk shipyard electrician fighting for workers’ rights awakened a hidden desire for freedom in millions of people.

Lucy and Kusy have to face quite a problem. From the States suddenly arrives Lucy's mysterious husband Louis. It turns out that their divorce was not fully carried out. Louis fights for his wife's lost feelings, he wants the girl to return to the US with him. Kusy removes himself into the shadows, but over time begins to suspect Louis of not very pure intentions. In the background, there is a clash between the cunning Czerepach, in the role of an auditor from the Chamber of Accounts, and the Village Head. Desperate, the Village Head, together with the entrepreneur Więclawski, who has won all tenders in the municipality for years, is plotting against his eternal enemy. The bench regulars are also preparing a surprise.
