Between January 2019 and May 2020, Adriana Lestido undertook a journey, without company or assistance, through the Arctic Circle and the Svalbard Islands, a frigid and inhospitable region shared by Norway and Iceland. During those months, Argentine photography recorded, in all its splendor, a still unknown ecosystem.
Story of Javier Villafañe, poet, vagabond, puppeteer, who brings his puppet show to the children of different towns, until he meets Karolus, a sailor from Hamburg whose dream is to return to his land with that boat called “La Andariega”. from the river". They both become good friends and travel together, but with the only condition that no women get on that boat. One day, the puppeteer falls in love with a young teacher and breaks that deal, unleashing an unexpected storm.
He is a writer and Ángela, a mature woman, is his domestic employee. Since he can't find inspiration, he decides to accompany her on her work day to other houses. Thus, delving into other people's lives, both begin to stop seeing each other as strangers and have fun, momentarily forgetting their own problems for a while. Without romantic tensions, the two simply enjoy sharing the day and, while Ángela cannot stop remembering Pedro, her dead husband, he only listens. Without advice or sermons, their two visions come together to make, at least that day, a different experience.
