Two long-lost lovers in their 80s, Agnes and Eddie, reignite their flame against all odds with hilarious and touching consequences.

Brothers Dean and Anthony form the up and coming rock band Bad Penny with their friend James as lead guitarist and singer and are doing their first headline tour. On their tour they brought along a support band called French Kiss, which is fronted by a charming singer called David French. To the brothers disgust French Kiss is becoming more popular than them and they devise an evil plan to make their band gain popularity again.

Stanley Huddersfield has graduated from University, but despite having a Master's degree in Art History he can't find a job. After countless rejections he gives up and starts working at the local supermarket where he is terrorized by his coworkers and a money crazy store manager. Years of putting up with these characters make him reach his boiling point.

After Ben and Eve have an argument during a house party, they meet with their respective best friends in a pub a few days later to tell their side of the story. As we listen to their version of events we find out what actually happened between them.
