The series presents intertwined human destinies in a hospital environment in Bulgaria in the 1990s, where the personal dramas of medical specialists collide with the tense everyday life and difficult moral choices. Against the backdrop of the social turmoil of the transition, secrets, criminal connections and the consequences of decisions that leave a lasting mark on the lives of the characters are revealed.
