Boredom, an escape, the sea, the city, free time. Musician and songwriter Vangelis Germanos dives into an eternal summer, almost 40 years after the release of his first album Ta Barakia (The Tiny Bars) and following his occasional performances in films and TV shows. As his work is all about colors, sounds, and the sea, he manages to carry us along into a summer adventure that is full of these elements.
I Only See in Me the Sea

A documentary on the vernacular and seemingly trivial encounters with the daily lives activities of Eleusis' dockworkers. With a direct reference to the exact meaning of Tonnage, a word describing the weight in tons, especially of cargo or freight, the film traces the vexed semantics and archives, of such a weight historically and symbolically.

An Athenian security guard seeks to escape the crushing routine of her night shift. Playing table football or listening to love advice on the radio just doesn't cut it, so she introduces a more intimate relationship into her life. Intensely visual work, full of surreal shots of empty meeting rooms, shabby elevators and peeking security cameras.
Phélia

An Italian family travels around Greece, setting up a moving funfair. Being routed in the circus, the two brothers keep on the magical world of entertainment, wandering in the countryside and islands. Observing the procedure of build-up, we discover their everyday life behind the lights. The arrival of their mother and sister will warm them up before they depart together for their new destination.
