ECW was a professional wrestling television program for WWE, based on the independent Extreme Championship Wrestling promotion that lasted from 1992 to 2001. The show's name also referred to the ECW brand, in which WWE employees were assigned to work and perform, complementary to WWE's other brands, Raw and SmackDown. It debuted on June 13, 2006 on Sci Fi in the United States and ran for close to four years until it aired its final episode on February 16, 2010 on the rebranded Syfy. It was replaced the following week with WWE NXT.

TNA Xplosion is a television program produced by Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, featuring both highlights from Impact Wrestling and exclusive taped matches. It is now produced only for international markets, no longer airing in the United States. It currently airs in Canada on The Fight Network, in Asia and the Middle East on ESPN Star Sports, the Arab World on MBC Action, and is available on Challenge in the UK. ECW started as a small, Philadelphia-based local wrestling company, but rapidly became a sensation that built a passionate fan base and influenced both WCW and WWE permanently. Honor Invades Boston was a wrestling show held by Ring of Honor. It took place on August 24, 2002 at the Americal Civic Center in Wakefield, Massachusetts. Honor Invades Boston was the first ROH show to take place outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Mayhem 1999 features a tournament to crown the new WCW World Heavyweight Champion. Participants include Bret Hart, Sting, Jeff Jarrett, and more. Goldberg faces Sid Vicious in an "I Quit" Match. Scott Hall battles Booker T with both the United States and Television Championships on the line.

May 27, 2005 at The National Guard Armory in Arcadia, Florida

Dissension was a wrestling event held by Ring of Honor. It took place on January 28, 2006 in Cleveland, Ohio. The shows name come from both Lacey’s Angels member BJ Whitmer, who had begun to grow tired with his partner Jimmy Jacobs after he announced he was in love with Lacey, as well as from Matt Sydal, who has announced his intent to challenge his Generation Next teammates Austin Aries and Roderick Strong for the ROH Tag Team Championship.

Hell Freezes Over was a wrestling event held by Ring of Honor. It took place on January 14, 2006 at the Pennsylvania National Guard Armory in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The show’s name comes from the main event, as ROH World Champion Bryan Danielson takes on Combat Zone Wrestling’s Chris Hero. The match came about after Danielson and Hero made several comments about each other on the internet. Danielson then sent an open contract for a shot at the ROH World Championship to CZW, who then signed Hero. Earlier in the day, CZW held An Afternoon of Main Events at the New Alhambra Arena in Philadelphia. During the show, Bryan Danielson, ROH Pure Champion Nigel McGuinness, and ROH Tag Team Champions Austin Aries and Roderick Strong jumped the guard rail, starting a fight with several CZW wrestlers. The show would be the start of the Ring of Honor vs. Combat Zone Wrestling feud, which would last for seven months.

Justin Credible takes on Tommy Dreamer in the main event in a Stairway to Hell Match. Rhino defends the ECW Television Championship against The Sandman. Tajiri, Little Guido, Super Crazy, and Psicosis collide in an Extreme 4-Way Match. Jerry Lynn battles Steve Corino and more.

Scramble Madness was a wrestling show held by Ring of Honor. It took place on November 16, 2002 at the Americal Civic Center in Wakefield, Massachusetts. The shows name comes from it Tag Team Scramble Match, which was at that point the largest one ROH had done, as The Amazing Red, The SAT and Divine Storm took on Special K in a ten man Tag Team Scramble.

Rob Van Dam takes on Jerry Lynn in the main event. The ECW World Heavyweight Championship is at stake in a 3-Way Hardcore Match between The Sandman, Justin Credible, and Steve Corino. The FBI, Mikey Whipwreck & Tajiri, and Super Crazy & Kid Kash collide for the ECW Tag Team Championship.
