Tom Bill, stage name of Loris Giraud, was an Italian actor, singer, playwright and radio broadcaster, naturalized Brazilian. He acted in Brazil's first sound film, Acabaram-se os Otários, playing the Italian character "Xixilo Spicafuoco".

Zé Babão is a hillbilly who does not care about working, leads the good life of the interior and is in love with Conchita. One day, an Italian appears interested in all the banana trees of Zé Babão and, for this, decides to marry Conchita.

They end up being chased by a police officer, and without a penny in their pockets, they end up returning to the countryside. It's considered a lost film, but a reconstituted version was made by researchers at the Universidade Federal Fluminense.
