Chris Evans revived TFI Friday after announcing its return on his BBC Radio 2 breakfast show in July 2014. Originally planned as a 20th-anniversary special, the show came back as a new series in 2015, premiering on Channel 4 on 12 June. The revival was filmed at the Cochrane Theatre in Holborn, following the demolition of its original home at Riverside Studios.
