Hurry Up, Brother! is a Chinese variety show based off the original Korean variety show, Running Man. It is created by SBS and co-produced with Zhejiang Television. It first aired on October 10, 2014. This show is classified as a game-variety show, where the MCs and guests complete missions in a landmark to win a race. In 2017, the show officially changed its name to "Keep Running".

Due to his parents' gambling habits, Xiao Sa has been forced to be the bread winner since childhood. When he gets fired from both his jobs, he discovers his parents ran off with his last paycheck, leaving behind a massive debt to the mafia. Convinced that good guys never win, he concocts a plan to hold the heiress Xiao Zhi ransom, but when Xiao Sa mistakingly saves her, he's offered a rags-to-riches position as her butler. Yeh Hsin is a top student in criminal psychology while her father is a distinguished cardiologist. Her boyfriend, Lin Miao, is a young forensic specialist. Everything seems perfect for Yeh Hsin until human remains are discovered in her backyard one rainy night. Around the same time Yeh receives a mysterious letter warning her that her life is about to change drastically.

In a dilapidated apartment, lives intertwine: a lonely, voyeuristic landlady, college student Wan Li, and a provocatively dressed female tenant. Wan Li rents the place for privacy with his ambivalent girlfriend, who later falls for his visiting junior. Ironically, while kissing her, the junior fantasizes about Wan Li himself—sparking a tangled web of unspoken desire and fractured loyalties.
