Pre-marital cold feet makes Vicky, a beautiful Greek woman that lived in Australia for years, come up with a plan to switch sides with a friend of hers (Stella, an obese but kind-hearted and streetwise Greek woman), while on board the flight taking her to Athens to meet her future in-laws.
A radio show producer suddenly loses her father. To cope with this unexpected loss, she creates a website where radio listeners can send in their stories. Later, she meets with them and they share their stories through the game of touch. During these meetings, which last two years, a child is unexpectedly lost. Through the stories they share, everyone manages to cope with their loss and continue their lives with greater strength and optimism. The same goes for the heroine.
This film is a video-recorded performance of a landmark play from French surrealism, which was staged as a musical for the first time ever. Libretto and music are by the well-known Greek composer Stamatis Kraounakis. He himself portrays the main role of Victor: a child prodigy from a bourgeois family, who, on his ninth birthday, decides to ruin everything, revealing his father's adultery and unraveling all the hypocrisy and family disintegration, as well as dismissing his class.
As New Year's Eve approaches at the end of 2000, eight lonely, alienated city dwellers struggle to connect with other human beings.
