KVN is a Russian humour TV show and competition where teams compete by giving funny answers to questions and showing prepared sketches. The programme was first aired by the First Soviet Channel on November 8, 1961. Eleven years later, in 1972, when few programmes were being broadcast live, Soviet censors found the students' impromptu jokes offensive and anti-Soviet and banned KVN. The show was revived fourteen years later during the Perestroika era in 1986, with Alexander Maslyakov as its host. It is one of the longest-running TV programmes on Russian Television. It also has its own holiday on November 8, the birthday of the game, which KVN players celebrate every year since it was announced and widely celebrated for the first time in 2001.
Comedy Club is a Russian stand-up comedy TV show broadcast by the Russian TNT channel since April 23, 2005. Long-time residents of the club are Garik Martirosyan, Timur Batrutdinov, Garik Kharlamov, Pavel Volya, Alexandr Revva, Alexander Nezlobin and others. The show host is Garik Martirosyan. Comedy Club headquarters are located in Moscow.

The city of Kalyazin is small and picturesque, in general, like many such cities. Nothing unusual, except for a secret institute dedicated to... the study of magic. One day, the strongest witch, the Mistress of the elements, escapes from the laboratory. Driven by hatred and a desire to avenge her imprisonment, she cuts off the city from the outside world and begins to turn the inhabitants of the city into goblins and mermaids, striving for one thing — to cleanse the real world of people and fill it with fabulous creatures. Alexey Popov decides to defeat the Mistress of the Elements in order to save his loved ones and liberate the city. Nikita Dobrynin, a blacksmith, and Ilya Muromtsev, a programmer, join him in the fight against evil. However, the Mistress of the elements is putting up serious resistance — a serious struggle for family, love and the right to remain human is unfolding in Kalyazin.

It's not easy for Marie to live in the frenzied rhythm of the Russian metropolis, but still she stays. Romantic relationships are bound to have difficulties, but Marie's new friends will always come to the rescue.
The plot is built around the traditional meeting of old friends in the bath and subsequent events. Musical stars, actors and comedians act out the most recognizable scenes from their favorite New Year's Soviet films and perform songs familiar to everyone.
