But what makes him stand out is that he is seemingly willing to do anything to make his dreams come through. Directors Even G. Benestad and August B. Hanssen has been following the Norwegian entrepreneur Gunnar Ryan Wiik since 2017 when his spectacular film project about the Western hero Morgan Kane collapsed and became front-page material in Norwegian newspapers. Ryan lost everything. With unique access over seven years, the film follows Ryan's new and adventurous projects. Can he finally succeed, or will the ghosts of the past consume him?

Ida's Diary is a film about hope and courage, about finding your own identity and daring to live. It's a personal film based on Ida's own video diary from the last eight years.

An imaginative and partly animated story told from an eight year old boy's perspective. The audience is taken on an adventure with the boy, his little brother and the girl next door, in a mix of dreams, nightmares and fantasies. The film explores how children themselves wish to convey and visualise their own universe.
