Mauro Bigonzetti's ballet based on Franz Kafka, performed by the National Theatre Ballet. Choreographer Mauro Bigonzetti, fascinated by the irresistible language of Prague native Franz Kafka and the enduring relevance of his novel "The Trial," was drawn into the dark world of Josef K and created a modern dance production depicting the world of the protagonist and his hopeless struggle with a cold and heartless modern society. Bigonzatti used music by a number of composers from different historical periods, from D. Buxtehude to H. Górecki, C. Monteverdi, and M. P. Mussorgsky. This selection is remarkably balanced and surprisingly contemporary.

Pavel "Žalman" Lohonka has been a legend of the Czech folk scene for decades. Many of his songs, known for their characteristic melancholy, have become almost folk songs today. In March of this year, he will celebrate his 75th birthday. To mark the occasion, he organized a concert with his band at the Semafor Theater, during which his new album, Všechno je teď (Everything Is Now), was also launched. Its godfather was none other than Jiří Suchý. The concert featured not only songs from the new album, but also many proven hits, performed for the first time in front of television cameras by Žalman's current band.

She is often called the first lady of Czech country music. However, it would be more accurate to say that Věra Martinová is one of our best pop singers. On top of that, she is undoubtedly an excellent guitarist. She had been planning her birthday concert for 2020, when she celebrated her milestone birthday, but the concert could not take place during the COVID-19 pandemic. It finally took place at the Hybernia Theater in November 2021 and was full of energy and great music in perfect interpretation. She performed her greatest hits, as well as songs from her latest album, Meritum.
