Far away, in the desolate Serbian wilderness, a U.S.-led fracking crew uncover a dormant monster gestating inside a centuries-old French soldier. Now awakened and exposed in its most dangerously fragile state, it tears through the men on the grounds in search of a new womb.

An orphaned young girl conjures an executed soldier back from the dead, and together they deliver hell in the Blackfoot territory of the late-1800s.

SUGAR OFF THE BUTTON is a short film about being in love. This film was my wedding gift to my husband, Douglas Burgdorff. With selected writing by Ruth Krauss from 1954, and shot on 16mm by Kansas Bowling.
