Azouz lives with his aunt Hayat and her husband, Navy officer Yahya. Egyptian intelligence suspects the Greek girl Marcel. They recruit Yahya to watch and repeat their meeting. Hayat is killed and Marcel is arrested while leaving the country, they press her and inspect Azouz, who urges him to steal a tape of her belonging to Hayat who is recording It has dialogues with her Yahya.

Police General Hemat demolishes the psychology of rebellious youth, by using sergeant Abbas who tortures political prisoners including Dr. Shawki. When Shawki is released, Abbas's condition deteriorates after his drug addiction. His wife Nour calls Dr. Shawki without knowing that he is one of his victims.

The film tells about the beliefs of African tribes, about where the waters of the Nile come, from the moon or from the fountains of the sun. The film is a historical document, as it is the only documentary film that depicted the recent flood of the Nile before the construction of the High Dam from its sources to its estuary in the context of an epic story from the date of the building of the pyramids and the Temple of Abu Simbel until the construction of the dam.
