As the years go by, it gets harder for dancer and theatre director Aki to live an artistic life. But against the odds, she perseveres. Aki is struggling to continue her lifelong work as a dancer, actress and theatre director, while at the same time caring for her ageing father. As a series of international performances are cancelled, we witness doubts swirling on the surface and a steely resilience within. As life challenges collide with the trials of the creative process, this film is a sensitive contemplation on what we can control in our lives and what remains out of our hands. It's a film that explores creativity, authenticity and how to keep true to yourself as the years go by.
