A loss and a secret from the past put in crisis an apparently perfect family.

Luca is a forty-year-old teacher experiencing a relationship crisis with his wife, Sara, who is much wealthier than him. During the lockdown, Luca finds himself a bystander in the life of his new neighbor, Amanda, and decides to bridge the distance between them, with disastrous consequences.

Umberto, Lucia and Corrado discover that their co-worker and friend Umberto is terminally ill, but they can't bring themselves to tell him. They decide instead to organize him an unforgettable holiday trip to the South.
