Biography
Clément Michu (1936–2016) was a French film and television actor. Clément Michu was born on 27 November 1936 in Villeurbanne in the Metropolis of Lyon. Michu acted in many films, four of which were directed by Gérard Oury. He acted also on Thierry la Fronde, a television programme, from 1963 to 1966. His best-known role was as Inspector Guyomard on Commissaire Moulin, a series on TF1, from 1980 to 2008. Michu resided in Nogent-sur-Marne near Paris, where he died on 21 October 2016. Thierry la Fronde was a French television series that aired in 1963–66 on the television station, ORTF original script by Jean-Claude Deret. Dubbed into English, it was shown internationally in the 1960s, including in Canada, where it was referred to under the original name, and also as The King's Outlaw. It was shown as well in Poland as Thierry Śmiałek. On ABC in Australia, it was called The King's Outlaw. In the Netherlands, 32 of the 52 episodes were shown in 1967 as Thierry de Slingeraar, as a Netherlands Television Service programme.
Thierry la Fronde
Hélène, a fragile and romantic teenager, discovers that her father, a rich business man, has a mistress. Curious, she decides to go and meet this woman who is described as strange. Adding to the confusion are Pivert's dentist-wife, who thinks her husband is leaving her for another woman, their daughter, who's about to get married, and a Parisian neighborhood filled with people eager to celebrate the return of Rabbi Jacob.
