Olka is seventeen years old. For years, she had been looking for her mother. Her constant escapes from the orphanage landed her in a reformatory. She only wants her mother back.
After 2 years in a mental hospital, Gosia, 18, is returning to her family and friends. As every other young woman, all she wants is a chance at ordinary life: to finish her studies and meet someone who will love her. She fights to be heard and understood, and speaks openly about her experience of schizophrenia.
A story about paintings and drawings created in the Auschwitz concentration camp. The film is a search for an answer to why so many people were risking their lives just to leave on paper a trace of what the morning appeal looked like.
