Wu Yunfang was born in 1935 in Shanghai and worked in Shanghai Film Studio. She graduated from Shanghai Preschool for Normal Education in 1956. In 1957, he joined the Shanghai Workers' Cultural Troupe as a dancer, and at the end of 1958 he entered the studio as an actress.
