The musicians are Latvians who live in Latvia, but they reap profits in Russia. Brainstorm has experienced the most interesting and intense period of modern European history. This period has also been a dramatic time for the band itself.

Albert is an old man who lives in a house surrounded by the forest. Since the death of his wife, he spends his days in solitude. Driven by loneliness, despair and a longing for his deceased wife, Albert agrees to participate in a spiritual séance, just to be with her one last time. The séance fails; however, it triggers a chain of surreal events that give him hope of regaining that which seemed lost forever. Unfortunately, these events happen only in Albert’s unconscious mind.

An artistic documentary movie about Lithuanian ethnoculture. In "Semme" the ethnoculture is brought to light through the beauty of nature, folklore and believes of ancestors. The main emphasis is on the Baltic heritage. Three main characters of "Semme" are eager to preserve the old ethnocultural traditions: cartographer Tadas Sidiskis, pagan priest Jonas Trinkunas, folk craftsmen Algirdas Verseckas. The main purpose of "Semme" is to reveal the alternative views to the old traditions and the national identity. Movie will show trip to old forest, pagan customs and offerings, medieval crafts.

Two artists, whose work was constrained during the Soviet era, fled to New York. There, they met with their guru Jonas Mekas, the creator of avant-garde filmmaking. He led the way into the bohemian circles and helped them to discover creative freedom.
