Stavros Kleopas

Vasilis Alexiou is a member of a wealthy family in Thessaloniki, and is now blind and paralyzed due to an accident that occurred while he was serving in the military in Cyprus. Desperate and disillusioned with life, he contemplates suicide, but then a new nurse arrives and cares for him with exceptional tenderness. She quickly gains his trust, offers him peace of mind, and finally convinces him to undergo a series of painful surgical procedures.
