A young German soldier named Paul goes AWOL and returns to his childhood home in the countryside. Over a few summer days, Paul evades the responsibilities of everyday life and falls in love with his brother’s girlfriend, disrupting the lives of everyone in his circle.

The late hours play out as Fifi must face her talent and unrequited love for a friend, while a collective stream of colorful creatures of the night make through Fifi's consciousness to feed her with temptation, insight, and humor on the path of her life-defining decision.

They are people whose physical appearance (female) does not match their inner sexual identity (male). The subject is pinpointed in the film independant of sexual orientation. Leave your conservative hats at the door, this is going to need your special attention.

In May 1968, no one passes him by: day and night, Peter Ernst Eiffe, who grew up in a Hanseatic family, is on the road in Hamburg with the felt-tip pen and covers toilets, traffic signs, mailboxes with his sayings. Presumably he is the first graffiti tagger in Germany. Highlight of his career: He drives a Fiat Topolino into the Wandelhalle of the main station and proclaims the "Free Republic of Eiffe". Forcibly admitted to psychiatry, he founded the party »Eiffe Brothers«. Christmas 1983 he escapes from the institution and is found frozen months later. In the 1990s, the filmmaker Christian Bau and Artur Dieckhoff began to deal with Eiffe.

How do blind people perceive the world and which sensory impressions remain hidden from sighted people? The experimental film explores this question in a multi-layered way. A sculptor's workshop, a painting museum and an orchestra become the settings for the richness that the perceptions of the different senses bring with them. In 1922, Max Ernst produced a painting entitled “The Rendezvous of Friends”. In surrealist style, it shows his friends from Paris - including Robert Desnos, Hans Arp, Paul Éluard and André Breton - all avant-gardists. The documentary follows the painting's journey from the artist's easel to the Museum Ludwig.

At the beginning of cinematography were a variety of devices and inventions that produced animated images. They meet me today as a colorful group of plastic in the souvenir shop or chewing gum machine.
