A tribute and call to action for linguistic diversity. A 15-minute motion poem (poem on film), each line comes from a different treasure or minority language. 48 speakers each speak in their mother tongues, as line by line, language by language, the poem is created.

Karmele is a Basque nurse exiled to France towards the end of the thirties. There, she meets Txomin, a master trumpeter, with whom she shares a love story and political commitment between Paris, Caracas and the Basque Country. Together, they build a family and seem to have a great mutual understanding; until the time comes to choose between loyalty to family or ideas.

The forest is full of spiritual and subconscious experiences, and art is the best vehicle to represent them so they can be understood and embraced. People often believe that remembering is simply looking back, whereas Ibarrola believed just the opposite, that it is marching forward.
