The Chief is a British crime drama transmitted on ITV from 20 April 1990 to 16 June 1995. Produced by Anglia Television, it centred on the politics at the top of a typical English police force in its continual battle to solve the problems the times, in this case the fictional Eastland of East Anglia.

Shadow of the Noose is a 1989 BBC One legal drama miniseries starring Jonathan Hyde as real-life English barrister Sir Edward Marshall Hall. The eight-episode serial depicts Marshall Hall's high-profile, controversial cases, earning him the nickname 'The Great Defender', while also exploring his personal struggles, particularly those related to his unhappy first marriage.

This is the story of the lovely Kate Swallow and the loves of her life. At the start she is with Alec Bolton, a noted author, who discourages her when she wants to write a novel. Later she is swept off her feet by Alecs publisher, Vanni Corso, and leaves Alec for Vanni. She writes another novel and Vanni tells her he doesn't think the book will sell. Both of their actions are an indication of their vanity and fear of losing her.

Michael Cardiff is a professional revolutionary highly trained in a variety of techniques of assassination, infiltration and evading law enforcement. After escaping from prison he places identification items on a decomposed body to make him appear dead as he plans his revenge against the government. Third and last entry of the Capt. Nick Jansen trilogy. This time Jansen is a member of the dog squad who fights a gang of drug dealers led by Rolly and Marko. After a raid on a night club he picks up Steve, the little brother of his girlfriend Pat Jackson, who has been given drugs by Marko.

The very rich can buy eternal life: all that's needed is someone desperate enough to donate, for a high price, a young body into which their personality can be transferred.
