A young woman infiltrates a dangerous self-actualization community after her mother becomes entangled with its enigmatic leader.
In a small NYC apartment, Maggie, independent to a fault, is caught off guard when her obnoxiously reasonable boyfriend asks her to move in with him. Rather than deal with the question, Maggie becomes determined to discover the source of an increasingly strong and mysterious smell from next door. What she finds brings her face to face with an impossible-to-ignore example of what’s at stake if she refuses to abandon her stale but comfortable life.

Cold Storage tells the story of a deformed young man who lives in a creepy dystopian high-rise whose inhabitants have lived there their entire lives, and never leave; they don't even think there is a world outside. He suffers from grim hallucinations and a growing urge to commit murder. A strange, malicious mass is growing on his wall, and making his visions worse, and a disembodied voice in the basement tells him to give in to his homicidal urges.
