Brazil , 2016 - post-coup period. Pedro is a producer of university films. Queer, anxious and methodical, he only wants a quiet filming set. Câmera Calibre is a short film that talks about resistance: resistance of making independent cinema in Brazil, of being gay in a Brazilian city with a high index of homophobia and of being represented as such on screen - and political resistance in light of a coup against democracy.
Ian has grown into Iara, proudly embracing her identity. Rejecting her family's legacy of violence, Iara guides her sister through memories and letters, where childhood wounds resurface at an ancient waterfall whose waters once baptized their parents in the evangelical faith.
