Biography
Born in Tekirdag. After graduating from Marmara University, Department of Business Administration, he completed his first master's degree on film at Rochester Institute of Technology in 2008. He worked at Greencard Pictures in New York for a while. He directed Sephora and Rootsein webisodes. He was the creative assistant of New York University Professor Marilyn Horowitz. He is currently pursuing a master's degree in film at Columbia University. He continues to work as a freelance advertising director. His first feature project, Yurt, for which he was selected for the Sundance Screenwriters Lab in 2019 and the Sundance Directors and Screenwriters Lab in 2020, had its world premiere at the 2023 Venice Film Festival.
