A poor young man leaves the city that lives and works to go to Athens. On the way he will meet one mad, who falls in love with him , and a young women falling in love.
Three sisters, Barbara, Theodora, and Kiki, have inherited an old mansion from their father, but they cannot sell it unless they first find a husband for their fourth sister, Filio, who is both deaf and dumb. Two suitors reject her immediately and she rejects the third suitor, but falls in love with the fourth, a diplomat who turns out to be a fraud. The suitor of the youngest sister, Kiki, Markos Spyropoulos, who is a building contractor, decides to bring order to the house. Already living there are Barbara's lazy future husband, Tryfonas, and Theodora's fiancé, Pantelis, who is a lifelong student. Filio is sent to Australia to find a groom, but she returns on the same ship to finally marry a middle-aged man, Prokopis.
A pop singer with a good heart and a lot of achievements, Manos, tenderly loves an orphan anthopolida, Annoula, which works several years in the center singing Manos, in order to finish high school. When he decides to leave Daisy's mistress and marry Anna, the girl's natural father, who was missing seventeen years in Canada, intervenes and claims her. He tries to redeem her stepfather and mistress, Mr Spyros, who, however, refuses. Anna is following her natural father in Thessaloniki. Mr. Spiros is in danger of dying from his fortune, and Manos gets sick by losing his voice. But everything is corrected by the return of the girl and the revelation that her father suddenly remembered it because she intended to put in the money her mother left.
A rich man's daughter leaves her home to live with the young man she loves. When her lover loses his job, after the intervention of her father, the girl will get a job, but the financial difficulty will force the young man to leave for Australia.
