Morden im Norden is a German Police that has been broadcast by Das Erste. The show is set in Lübeck, Germany Morden im Norden is part of a series of commonly branded shows with similar themes called "Heiter bis tödlich".

The focus is on the Gotland investigation team led by Inspector Robert Anders, who originally comes from Germany, his assistants Karin Jacobson and Thomas Wittberg, and the pathologist Ewa, played by Pippi Longstocking actress Inger Nilsson.

Emil, now 27, lost his mother in an accident in a greenhouse during his childhood. He visits his mother's best friend at the time, who has no idea how the conversation will end.
