Biography
Julie Roy is a Canadian screenwriter and director. She holds a bachelor degree in Art History from UQAM. She is a screenwriter, director, and children's author, in film and television. She directed the short films Un jour t’endends plus le traffic (2016), Luz, un film de sorcières (2019), Yellow Blood (2019), and 10 femmes au téléphone (2021). She wrote several youth series, including the web series Nomades and Barbada. She also acted as a script-supervisor on the zombie film Les affamés (2017).
