Contágio

Portrait of a tannery in Beira Alta and of its workers. The film follows the lives of Carla and Lúcia, the only female workers left after the departure of Patrícia, whose disappearance is the subject of much talk among the workers and serves as a metaphor for the future of the factory after the economic crisis that stormed the country.
Unskinned

Ana Gläser trained and sculpted her body to the extreme for years until she achieved a historic and unique feat: becoming a pioneer of female bodybuilding in Portugal. Today, at over 50 years old, with a career full of awards and competitions under her belt and a family to care for, Ana shares her life story as she opens up the intimacy of her home to us. Inês Gil's debut film is a portrait of a woman, but it is also an exploration of bodily autonomy, beauty, femininity, societal mandates, and the consequences of choosing to live against the norm.
