About a personal experience of claustrophobia and how to deal with it. When you can't have another cup of coffee or another brandy because you just gotta get on the plane. And there you are. And suddenly there's a flight attendant saying "good morning".

Silence is 11 minutes long but manages to pack 20 years of a little girl's experience. Using stark black and white animation and vivid colour animation, the story is told from a little girl's point of view. We follow the silences that were imposed on her first in Terezin (Theresienstadt) concentration camp and then in post-WWII Sweden, where her relatives don't ask any questions and don't permit them either. This is the true story of Tana, who has learned to keep silent and who finally, 50 years later, breaks her silence by narrating this short film. The film was adapted from a tone poem performed by Tana in Stockholm during an event commemorating the 50th anniversary of the end of the war.

To outsiders, Alcoholics Anonymous is often considered a cult. Two filmmakers of diverse perspectives demystify this organization. Road trips, archival footage, interviews and arguments combined with the testimony of AA members, their faces masked by hand-drawn animation, provide insight into an organization rarely depicted on film.

Based on themes arising from real life interviews, Touch Wood looks at the nature of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. The action takes place over one night where we see a man preparing for bed. However instead of falling asleep he spends the time checking and rechecking lights, doors and clocks, obsessively securing the house for his night’s rest. Stylistically the animation highlights the divide between the character and his attempt to control his increasingly malevolent environment. The film explores the uneasy balance between the man’s desire to control his life and the compulsions that try to possess him.

With the world exploding all around him and gunfire ringing in his ears, a soldier lies bleeding from a critical wound. In his hand is a picture of his mother. As he slips away, he sees all of life in front of him, slipping into oceans and through forests as he heads back to his home and the breaking hearts of his family.
