Biography
Axelle VINASSAC (France) is a filmmaker whose work moves between self-narratives, memory and formative experiences, combining documentary, video work and performance. She writes, shoots and edits her own films, developing an intimate and formally fluid approach to storytelling. Her documentary work includes Les démons de Ludivine (2018) for Arte and Les passagers (2023) for France Télévisions, while her video piece Ils m’ont appris à voir les anges (2024) screened widely in France. In 2025 she completed Soudain l'été (Suddenly Summer) - an erotic comedy at the crossroads of genres - which had its international premiere at the International Film Festival Rotterdam in 2026.
