Sofia, a promising young LA-based musician, returns to her home-town of Kyiv for the first time in four years. Her brother is getting married, the tables are heaving with food, everyone is there, including her ex-boyfriend. And then, suddenly, the sirens start wailing, and with the hangover comes the fight for survival.

The film does not have a main character, but instead explores the experience of war through the prism of the collective and the individual: those forced to flee, those who take up arms, those who lose their homes or are left to live among the ruins. The film shows people's reactions to aggression and violence, to the change in the space in which they live, and their adaptation to a new reality.

This Rain Will Never Stop takes the audience on a powerful, visually arresting journey through humanity’s endless cycle of war and peace. The film follows 20-year-old Andriy Suleyman as he tries to secure a sustainable future while navigating the human toll of armed conflict. From the Syrian civil war to strife in Ukraine, Andriy’s existence is framed by the seemingly eternal flow of life and death.

The film’s story is based on the fate of the Floriculture Pavilion of the former Exhibition of Achievements of the People’s Economy, and its elderly employee Valentyna Voronina, who maintains this space, investing her own life into it, until suddenly changes come to her. After forty-five years of work, she is asked to retire. But Voronina does not agree with that, because she thinks that all the plants will die without her. Meanwhile, a group of mysterious radioesthesists find a channel of positive energy right in front of the entrance to the pavilion.

The story is about Nazar and Max, two guys from Ukraine, and an old Soviet bike, and the ambitious goal they set themselves to beat the world speed record at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah, USA. This dry salt desert is the meeting point for hundreds of people from all over the world, who spend millions of dollars on their quest to become the next speed racing champion. Nazar and Max spend all their time assembling their bike in a small garage on the outskirts of Kyiv, travelling hundreds of miles and overcoming countless obstacles to make their dreams come true. And then, on the other side of the world, they both come to realize why there are there.

Leva, a kind-hearted young poet, lives and works at a construction site on the outskirts of a city. He dreams of moving to the city, where he wants to enrol in the university. Leva develops feelings towards one of his workmates, but keeps them to himself. Until he starts to believe the affection might be mutual.

With clear orders to achieve results, the doctor manages to bring back some memory bit by bit, but these remembrances became unbearable for the old Healer…
