Xari Wimbauer

Tatort is a long-running German/Austrian/Swiss, crime television series set in various parts of these countries. The show is broadcast on the channels of ARD in Germany, ORF in Austria and SF1 in Switzerland.

Shortly before the end of the Second World War, Anna and her eleven-year-old son Felix seek refuge in the countryside, where a strict Nazi regiment also prevails. In contrast to his mother, Felix slowly succumbs to right-wing propaganda.

Kreuzeder was once a successful commissioner, but now he rarely solves a case. After more than 20 years in the service, he just wants to retire as quickly as possible and leave everyday life in the homicide squad in Lower Bavaria behind. Kreuzeder is of the opinion that humanity is coming to an end anyway, so he prefers to get drunk in the tavern and flirt with the waitress Gerda Bichler there instead of going about his work.

The discovery of a magic mirror allows Fred to realize his dream: his twin tidies up his room, eats without complaining and becomes first in class. But Fred did not keep his promise to keep this secret by revealing it to his friend, Émile.

Across generations, a single instrument connects people from different eras - from an emigrating zither player in the Bavarian Forest in 1881, to the persecuted and the lovers of the 20th century, to a deaf young woman in present-day Munich - weaving them into a polyphonic, musical hymn to memory, loss, and solidarity.
