Biography
Cody Kilpatrick Steele is an LA-based indie film actor known for bringing raw intensity and deep authenticity to the screen. Whether playing scrappy underdogs, offbeat leading men, or intense everymen, he thrives in roles that demand both grit and heart—characters who fight for something real, even if they have to get their hands dirty. A Cleveland native, Cody cut his teeth in the underground film scene, becoming a driving force behind the city’s independent movement. His breakout performance in Sincerely Me won him Best Actor at the Hollywood Boulevard Film Festival, and he later took home another Best Actor award at the New York International Film Awards for Don’t Shoot the Piano Man, a project he also produced. The film is now streaming on Tubi. Most recently, he wrapped MEAT, an upcoming LGBTQ+ slasher that has been making waves online, and had a role in Shelby Oaks, directed by Chris Stuckmann. With a sharp wit and an edge that never dulls, Cody is drawn to character-driven dramas, psychological thrillers, and gritty crime stories. He’s not just here to play the part. He’s here to leave a mark.
