In the late 21st century, a subculture of humans have emerged who have been modified genetically by a vampire-like disease, giving them enhanced speed, incredible stamina and acute intelligence. Peter Lum, a football star, lives an ideal life in Cronulla until a diagnosis links his concussions to a brain disorder. Unable to accept it, he tries escaping through pub nights but his ex-wife and son know the game caused his downfall.

Set between episodes 9 and 10 of the final series, the film finds the family taking their festive spirit far from home and onto a South American cruise to Colombia. Despite best intentions, their plans quickly unravel in a series of chaotic events.

Marcus Graham plays Josh Jarman, a struggling playwright who has written a long, serious play about doomed love, failed relationships and the overall hurt and heartache of falling in love. He is extremely proud of it, and takes it to various producers around the city, hoping to find one that will produce his play.
