A young unemployed man has difficulty communicating with his girlfriend. As he struggles to cope with his fragile state of mind, a series of mysterious killings unsettles the residents of Block 142B. Some claim to have seen a tiger roaming in the estate. Adapted from Dave Chua’s ‘The Tiger of 142B’, from the book ‘The Beating and Other Stories’.

The Drum is a short film that follows the journey of Kang, a recently retired man in his 60s dealing with the sudden onset of a late-life crisis. He realises that he must mend old conflicts and learn to accept his new life or risk losing himself in the emptiness of old age.
