An anthology of four stories that sheds light on modern relationships from the viewpoint of the Indian woman.

When Ankur is wrongfully imprisoned and sentenced to death in a foreign country, his steely sister Satya is driven by a lethal resolve to break him free.

Mumbai, the commercial capital of India, is a city that never sleeps. Rapidly changing at a feverish pace with every passing second, it is always on the move and so are the people living in it. In this story, we take an insight into the lives of the people living in this city and how the pace of the city affects their relationships and how they deal with it. No matter what happens life has to go on. This is also a story of four couples and their lives in a metropolitan city. They belong to different social and financial strata and every one has got its own problems to deal with. What one couple has, the other doesn't?

The basic content of this film is all about a revolutionary movement started by the victims of our stereotypical education system. A disheartened IT professor called Tariq Siddhiqi, (Anupam kher) who is basically disappointed with the orthodox education system and Devang Tripathi (Ashish Vidyarthi) an alcoholic professor who is thrown out from Mumbai University for his abstract methodology for teaching and Arjun Sheghal, (Ankur Khanna) an under achieving student who disenchants the traditional education system as he doesn't believe in grading system and Priyanka (Arshi) who wants to break through the typical parental pressure of our society to accomplish her passion as a super model. Finally as they all possess the same perception towards our stereotypical education system, they decide to go against to it and they form an abstract pattern of education system to encourage the failed students of our society.

A young man who discovers his ancestral connection to a 16th century warrior who sought revenge against Portuguese explorer Vasco da Gama. Blending history and legend, the story traces a rebellion fueled by betrayal, courage, and the fight against colonial conquest.

In the more or less lawless Chambal Valley in 1975, a gang of bandits led by Maan Singh are up to mischief. The lawless men, who call themselves Bhaagis (rebels), live by robbery and attack the villages in the area. Since they have previously committed a more than shameful crime, they are hunted mercilessly by the police. When Maan Singh learns about a treasure of gold that is about to change hands at a wedding reception, the target of their next heist is clear. They have no idea that it is an ambush of the police. Some of the gang members barely manage to escape and flee into the inhospitably barren surrounding area. While a dispute arises about how to proceed, they meet a woman from the lowest caste who is being hunted by a family clan. In their care there is a girl who was raped and seriously injured by the leader of that clan. The bandits see the opportunity to atone for their shameful crime.

It is an evocative and poignant composition consisting of three separate stories set in Mumbai, Kolkata and Kochi. Every story revolves around love, life and loss.

Set in Mumbai, Nayantara's Necklace explores the friendship between Alka and her new Dubai-returned neighbour Nayantara. As their friendship grows, Alka finds herself wanting to be more like Nayantara. But what Alka doesn't know is the price that she might have to pay for this obsession of hers.

Amu is the story of Kaju, a twenty-one-year-old Indian American woman who returns to India to visit her family and discover the place where she was born. The film takes a dark turn as Kaju stumbles against secrets and lies from her past. A horrifying genocide that took place twenty years ago turns out to hold the key to her mysterious origins.

After a bitter divorce from her Kolkata-based husband, Binita Sen re-locates to live in Modern Society, Navi Mumbai, along with her resentful daughter, Nitya. She is soon befriended by a kitty-party group consisting of Jasbeer Brar, Anita Jethmalani, Dilnavaz Noorani, Parimal Bhosle, Lata Kodialbal, and Sania Noorani, whose primary interest appears to be a daytime soap featuring modern characters of two lovers, Kunti and Arjun. Binita gets hired as a teacher, while Nitya gets a job at a call-center, MacMillan & Modi, through stock broker Feroz Sethna and Ritesh Jethmalani respectively. While Nitya gets attracted to Ritesh, she is a little dejected after she finds he has a steady girlfriend in Kirti Wagaskar.

Naamkaran is a hindi word and it means The Naming and used in context of naming a child. Naamkaran tells the story of two sisters – one a pickpocket and the other a teacher by profession. Shot in Kolkata in winter, it follows the journey of the two sisters as their worlds collide to make ends meet. The teacher is looking for a good name for her son. She rejects names suggested by her pickpocket sister and ill father. It is interesting to see how she finalizes the name of her kid. Sen Sharma handles the quirky subject with a degree of authority, choosing not to dwell on drama and allowing events to narrate the story.

Post his parents' divorce, Soumyo lives with his father in San Francisco but returns to Kolkata after his mother dies. There, he learns a lot about his mother through her diary and all her belongings.
