On a summer holiday in the countryside, Louis and Paul spend the time alone making love throughout the day. But as Paul becomes distant, Louis finds connections in his dreams but sometimes his dreams aren't always the safest escape.

The film reveals the diversity, sound and melody of Romansh, one of Switzerland's four official national languages. In the age of globalization, Romansh, which is only spoken by a small minority, seems to be threatened with extinction. For the protagonists of this poem of images and sounds, however, the language is a symbol of their belonging, their identity and their resistance.

In one of the last rural schools on the border between Galicia and Portugal, Mariana, a four-year-old girl, discovers the world through the stories and legends told by her teacher. As Mariana grows, these tales and the passage of time shape her view of the world, until at eighteen, she faces a crucial decision: to leave her village or remain in this borderland by her mother’s side.

In Zimmerwald, idyllically situated in the foothills of the Swiss Alps, an ornithological meeting took place in the middle of the First World War. In reality, it was a secret conference against the war that united Lenin and other socialists from all over Europe. One hundred years later, a secondary school class searches for traces of this history.

From archival images, an improbable story is woven of a boy who couldn't stop crying, creating both floods and paradises.

Having come from the sea, two young sportswomen are paddling their canoe with all their strength on a vast plain. They meet some of the inhabitants, whose activities and narratives evoke a human story of its own. A committed film, like an on-sight navigation in quest of a realistic fable.

'The Temptation of Saint Anthony' is a triptych by the Dutch painter Hieronymus Bosch, exhibited in the National Museum of Ancient Art in Lisbon. In a visionary manner, it reproduces the temptations of the holy man in the desert by playing with the religious allegory, the mystical symbols of his age and the popular taste for illustration. More than a real image, it is a mental image. This mental image, which transforms very quickly into imagination, is therefore the subject of 'Anthony, the Invisible One', in which a guide presents the famous painting to three different audiences: sighted people, blind people, and a deaf and blind man.
