Biography

Egyptian actor. He was born in the Caliph in Cairo, and his father passed away, and he was one year old at the time. Acting began at the school, where he joined the acting team, and was a player in the football cubs at Zamalek Club. After he obtained high school, he joined the College of Commerce, then left it and joined the Higher Institute for Dramatic Arts, and obtained a diploma from the Higher Institute for Dramatic Arts in 1967 with distinction and was ranked first. He married actress Bossi in 1972 and has two daughters, Sarah and Mai, who separated in 2006 and then returned in 2015. During his studies at the institute, he knew the artist Saad Ardash, who nominated him to work with him in a small role in the backstreets play, then director Kamal Eid chose him to act in the play Romeo And Juliet, and during the rehearsals he got to know the artist Adel Imam, who nominated him for director Hassan Al-Imam to present him in the film Qasr Al-Shawq, and for this role he received a certificate of appreciation and was the first award he received. He directed the stage for the first time on the Hanager theater with the play The Priest, and he also directed the one-time cinematography with the film The Two Lovers. He has won a number of awards for many of his cinematic works from a number of festivals.

The events of the series revolve around the story of the rise from the bottom to the top of Abdel Ghafour Al Borai (Noor Al Sharif), starting from the agency of Hajj Ibrahim Sardinah (Abdul Rahman Abu Zahra) until he becomes a private business owner who makes a fortune, during which he has admired Fatima (Abla Kamel), a saleswoman. Al-Kushari, whom he admired, passes the days and marries Fatima and gives birth to his son Abdel-Wahhab (Mohamed Riyad), and four girls (Sunni, Bahira, Nafisa, and Nazira), and despite the availability of the elements of happiness in the life of Abdel Ghafour Al-Borai, he suffered from the separation of his only son. In the 12th century's Andalusia lives Ibn Rushd a prominent Islamic philosopher with his wife Zeinab and daughter Salma. The principality is ruled by Khalifa ElMansour who has two sons, ElNasser, an intellectual that likes Ibn Rush and is in love with his daughter Salma. The younger son Abdallah is more into dancing and poetry, spending most of his times with the gypsy family and getting the daughter pregnant. The Khalifa is depending on the extremists to build his army granting them more power which they use to combat artists and philosophers. The extremists succeed in recruiting Abd Allah and train him to kill his father. Events go on where Marawan, the gypsy singer, is killed and Ibn Rushd's books are burnt. Adapted from the real life of Ibn Rushd AlMasir is Chahine's statement against extremism.
