Renuka Menon

Pathaaka is a 2006 Indian Malayalam film, directed by K. Madhu. The film stars Suresh Gopi, Navya Nair, Saikumar and Lalu Alex in lead roles. The film had musical score by Tej.

While on a train journey, Kiran, an engineer, meets Bhuvana and falls in love with her. Bhuavana's family agrees to their marriage, but mistaken identities lead to the cancellation of the wedding.

A sister in law (Akshaya) falls in love with her brother in law Akhilan (Arya). But he refuses her because he adores his wife (Renuka Menon) and he never would cheat on her. He hides all facts to his wife in order to protect her. Finally the sister in law commits suicide after a tragedy that becomes the climax of the film.

Shyam and Sivan are popular students in their college. When Aparna, Shyam's erstwhile girlfriend, joins the same establishment, the truth about the two men is revealed.

Muthu, is a young man devoted to his physically challenged sister Meera. When he falls in love with a woman named Aswathy, his struggle to balance love, duty and survival leads to heartbreaking consequences that redefine his relationship with his sister.

Antony falls in love with Rajeswari who belongs to an upper caste family. When her father kills her sister for marrying a man from the lower caste, she decides to elope with Antony.

Shiva (Bharath) enters into St.Peters college, Bangalore and meets Pooja (Renuka Menon), who was born and brought up in the United States and has come to India to stay with her grandparents while completing her college education. Shiva falls in love with her but soon realises that their characters are totally different. Pooja feels alone, like a fish out of water in India and she wants to return to the US. So Shiva thinks about a plan to get her to stay and he expresses his love to her by creating a fictitious character MR X but never reveals about the character till the end. Pooja who got impressed by MR X refuses to see him in the later stage but understand and accepts shiva's true love.

Complications arise when Lalan, a crook, returns from jail and learns that his friend Majeed has turned into a gangster.

Solomon, a corrupt policeman, aids Ummachan in his drugs trade. However, things take a turn when Solomon ends up accidentally killing Ummachan's younger brother.
