Violinist Michael Barenboim and cellist Kian Soltani are the soloists at this year's concert of the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra in Salzburg. The programme includes the Double Concerto for Violin and Violoncello in A minor op. 102 which was Johannes Brahms final orchestral work composed in 1887.

Recorded at Germany's Mainz Cathedral, this inspirational concert video features the glorious voice of opera star Renee Fleming, who's regarded as "the gold standard of soprano sound." With maestro Trevor Pinnock conducting, Fleming performs "Ave Maria," "Laudate Dominum" (from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Mass in C minor), "Adeste Fidelis," "Rejoice Greatly" (from George Frideric Handel's oratorio "Messiah") and "O Holy Night."

The 250th anniversary of George Frideric Handel’s death takes place on April 14th, 2009. This outstanding British-German performance in Handel’s baptistery, the Market Church in Halle, represents the media highlight of the Handel Year.
