Siddhartha, a typical young man, falls in love with Kokila. She too eventually falls for him and both get married. At first they live happily, however later on Siddhartha loses his eyes in an accident, which is when trouble starts for them.

Eradu Rekhegalu is a 1984 Indian Kannada language drama film directed by K. Balachander. The film stars Srinath, Geetha and Saritha in the lead roles. Produced by Chandulal Jain, the film is a remake of 1969 Tamil hit Iru Kodugal starring Gemini Ganesan, Sowcar Janaki and Jayanthi. The music is composed by M. S. Viswanathan. Kalki (Shruti) works in an ad agency and is relentlessly pursued by co-worker and model Paranjothi (Rahman) but she not only rejects him but debunks love and sentiments. Chellammaa becomes friends with Kalki after a few encounters and Kalki moves in as a paying guest. But she strikes up a friendship with Prakash and as the result of an affair with him, she ends up bearing his child. What happens of this leads up to the climax.

A betting teenager, Raj gets involved in a larger bet than he had imagined to earn 2 million rupees for his father's treatment. Will he be able to save his father?

Chanthu, a poor orphan and Aromal are cousins and belong to the Chekavar clan, a warrior clan who hire themselves out as duellers to settle disputes among the rich and powerful. Aromal, jealous of the much more talented Chanthu, makes life miserable for him and Chanthu decides to leave and live with Aringodar, a rival chekavan, as his pupil.
