A young Canadian woman who sings in Kreuzberg in a rock band, and her boyfriend, who lives in a politically active flat-sharing community. Due to the new capital situation, demolished buildings suddenly become sought-after buildings. The living and working situation of the musicians and other scene-people deteriorates massively.

On the run from her criminal Italian husband, a young French woman meets a German lover in West Berlin who offers her shelter but who also gets entangled in her threatened life ever deeper.

After an assassination attempt, a mannequin ends up by chance with a castle owner who, due to an allergy, is confined to a room in the tower, where she collects commercials from around the world via video. Mysterious murders and eerie figures make it difficult for the young woman to distinguish between reality and dreams.
