The documentary “Armenian Sketches” is a series of short stories about people who represent their national culture and traditions with sincere warmth. Like a puzzle, viewers may put together a big picture out of those stories, revealing Armenia’s centuries-old past and future in the unity of generations and in the unwavering spirit of its people. Video stories are dedicated to Armenian masters of traditional crafts, the creation of a khachkar or the manufacture of musical instruments, as well as present-day innovations.

Individual short stories, organically combined into a single documentary narrative, acquaint the viewer with the inhabitants of Vyborg, with their traditions, customs and modern realities. The heroes of the plots were those people who create the modern history of their native land. Each of them has his own choice – Vyborg... for the rest of his life.

The film tells the stories of 30 heroes - residents of the peninsula, who daily go to their favorite work, engage in creative work, help their neighbors and are not afraid to make plans for the future.

The film consists of separate short stories, organically combined into a single documentary narrative that introduces the viewer to today's Khabarovsk territory and its inhabitants. The characters of the film are people of different professions and Hobbies who live in different districts of the Khabarovsk territory, but are United by love for their land and a vision of the future connected only with it. Every day they contribute to the development of the region, sometimes without even knowing how significant.

Film is the result of joint work of the international team including young authors from Russia, Argentina, Armenia, Belarus, Egypt, Spain, Italy, China, Mexico, Poland, Serbia, Tunisia, Turkey and France. The project consists of more than 30 short video novellas about the citizens of Saint Petersburg of different generations, nationalities, professions and hobbies, whose life is inseparably associated with Saint Petersburg. Ballet dancer, designer of the fashion house, captain of motorship, cannoneer of the Peter and Paul Fortress, archpriest, rabbi, engineer, photographer, reggae performer with a gypsy nickname are among the characters of the film.
