Film shows the struggle of the Czechoslovak armed forces against groups of Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA) under command Burlak, who tried to pass through the territory of Slovakia.

In the thick woods at the edge of the Bohemian Forest, two border guards are keeping watch - rifleman Kucera (Rudolf Jelínek) and dog handler Stencl (Josef Hajducík), whose sluggishness and clumsiness have won him the nickname Simpleton. The official army dog, the bitch Líza, picks up the scent of an alien dog on the German side - Black Wolf. She bites through her leash and runs away. Soon afterwards, the border boundary was interrupted. The two soldiers are wounded in the gunfire that follows, but Stencl's shot also hits the target and the intruder - an attractive woman in a black jersey - is dead. The investigation reveals that this agent knew someone among the local residents. The locals are all called in to identify the body but nobody admits to knowing the woman.

During the bloody battles for the Dukel Pass, he falls in love and it turns out that behind the mask of a sovereign, he is actually a shy and sensitive person.

They are waiting for interrogation and, fearing possible accusation and punishment, try to prepare an alibi. Fear also affects their characters, which change under the stress, and eventually the one who is the fairest but softest of the two is insulted...

A Czechoslovak battalion, led by Captain Hloušek, conquers a Slovak mountain village two days before Christmas Eve 1944. Christmas and classical music is heard from nearby German positions. The soldiers get permission from their commanders to celebrate Christmas. The only one against is the austere second lieutenant Jílek, about whose past there are various rumours and whom the soldiers distrust. Captain Hloušek decides to reconnoitre the enemy positions, which, despite a minor incident, goes off without a hitch. The holiday of peace and tranquility can begin both with ours and the enemy...

During World War II, dogs were trained in special centres for guard duty in concentration camps. However, one of the prisoners domesticates a female German Shepherd, which saves his life during his escape.

A story about the uproar caused by the arrival of a new, young and, by local standards, too energetic zookeeper in a village JZD. Her name is Maya Četná and one evening she arrives like a tornado on a motorbike in the semi-truck of a typical Czech village. The chairman, leaving the next day for a long-term training, has no time to get to know the girl properly, so it's no wonder he can't help wondering when she returns.

Together with a group of temporary workers, a group of experienced labourers is building a land reclamation system to turn the South Bohemian marshes into a "Seventh Continent" of fertile soil.

The music and dance revue about the clown and the girl from the poster takes place in the streets of Prague, in the quiet corners of the Old Town, Lesser Town and Hradčany with the famous motifs of the Gothic gargoyles of St. Vitus Cathedral at Prague Castle, but also on the keyboard of a mechanical typewriter and in the dramaturgical meetings of the then Czechoslovak Television.

The bridegroom Jan Kaspar is an officer in the Klement Gottwald's Nová Hut rolling-mill. After bidding farewell to his freedom, he accidentally takes a sip from the bottle of tetrachlore which he stores at home. He disregards the dizziness, but the next day, he faints in the factory and has a brain concussion. During her regular tests, doctor Dudková is shocked by a high percentage of residual nitrogen found in Kaspar's blood. Doctor Bohácek, with whom Dudková consults, thinks that it is a liver disease and informs the head physician Filip. The doctors know nothing about tetrachlore and are in the dark about the case. Despite that, they immediately start to fight for Kaspar's life and their struggle consequently affects their personal lives.

Kamil and Vlasta are a married couple living apart for work. When Vlasta stops in Prague to surprise him, she finds him “away” and asks his friend Pepek for help. Ignoring Pepek’s excuse, she heads to a nightclub—only to encounter Kamil with his mistress. News of Vlasta’s visit forces Kamil into a charade: he returns home to her empty-handed, then avoids her until morning at the station, where a mysterious package brings his clandestine night to a close.

The three Potůčks live in a house in Ouplavice: a widower grandfather, a son whose wife has run away, and a still unmarried grandson. The father works as chairman of the agricultural cooperative, the son leads the local youth and the pensioner grandfather supplies the two of them with lots of witty advice through the trumpet of his inseparable pipe. They've got a lot on their minds right now. Their village is in competition with neighbouring Piscory, and their opponents are using dishonest weapons to fight...

Ten-year-old Martin attends religion at school and is always an altar boy at church. That's the wish of his mother Anci, a bigoted believer. However, Martin encounters hypocrisy at every turn and begins to doubt that God exists. His older brother Eda steals money from his father with impunity, his father steals materials from the cooperative building, and even Martin's best friend Kovajs "sins" without scruples. Pastor Hornof tries in various ways to maintain his influence over his sheep, but is hindered by people with a "progressive" socialist mindset. When Martin's beloved Angora rabbits, who have done nothing wrong to anyone, die, the boy's faith is clear. He decides to join a pioneer organisation. All that's left is to keep it a secret from his mother...

In 1965, the experienced director Jaroslav Mach made a documentary film with staged scenes, which dealt with the current problems of popular Czech sport. Behind the scenes of football, the playmakers looked through slavoje's team, which is preparing for the decisive match. If Coach Ram doesn't force his boys to perform convincingly, they're in danger of relegation to league two. After a series of dramatic peripeteias, Slavoj takes the field so weakened that he is caught up in the dreaded failure. Fortunately, the club's fans will eventually take their anger out on the loss of "their" team to an innocent referee. The film also features criticism of officials... In addition to actors Martin Růžek and Bohumil Šmída, Machov's film appeared real footballers Dukla and period sports stars (e.g. František Plánička).
