Biography
Beatriz Bagulho is an illustrator and animator, born in Lisbon, 1997. Communicating through drawing and animation, she translates concepts, stories and observations into visual universes. In a constant search for how to exteriorize her conscious and subconscious thoughts, Beatriz is dedicated to a great variety of disciplines: scenography, editorial design and illustration, drawing exhibitions, graphic design and animation cinema. Beatriz studied Animation (BA) at University of the West of England. Her two short films Corporealitis and (In)Dividual have been presented and awarded at various international film festivals.

The body of the protagonist leaves her head and launches itself into another dimension, where, without the restrictions and constraints of the mind, arise a space for reveries and where fun and colours prevail. A humourous reflection on identity, on a fanciful escapism as a way to face and accept reality.
