A blackmailer is murdered. Vauzelle, the lover of the beautiful Michelle Korany, is suspected because he was the one who was being blackmailed.

Ginette, daughter of a foreman of an automobile factory, and Claude, son of the director of this company, love each other, but the father of the young man refuses the marriage.

Two villagers have adopted a child abandoned on the road. A jealous kid drags him away from the village. He is collected by a traveling circus where his kindness attracts him the affection of all and especially that of the animals. One day he finds his mother and his two adopted fathers.
